The King of Kings

This is a jumbo playing card with the image of a Madonna and Child, which can be viewed rightside-up or upside-down. The card design suggests a stained glass window; multicolored panels joined by raised black lines. Multicolored metallic foils were used to create the effect.
The artwork created for the front of the card required eleven different foil colors, a quantity
which had never before been attempted on one sheet. Up until this time, the maximum
number of foils used at once was four. Don persuaded his printer to attempt the previously impossible. The finished card won technical awards for its execution. The card is delivered
in a protective plastic sleeve and sturdy cardboard mailer.
